The research phase on the projects Bridging Insula Europae, Euclides and Patch World, financed by the program Lifelong learning 2007-2013 - Comenius and Transversal Programme Key Activity 3: Multilateral Projects came to an end. The Bulgarian partners are Association “Center for educational initiatives”, Association “Parents” and The Department for information and In-Service Training of teachers. Schools, Universities, Pedagogical centers and non-governmental organizations from Italy, Spain, Portuguese, France, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Полша, Malta, Netherlands, Romania, Turkey, Greece, and Kipper took part in the projects.
The research’s focus was pointed to the examination of the educational approaches, connected with the active learning, problem based learning, cooperative learning, learning by doing. The elaboration of the ICT, based on an educational platform for open distance learning, was also discussed. An inquiry research reveals the opinion of 37 teachers and 32 parents, all participated in the project. Interviews with experts of different institutions like The Bulgarian Science Academy, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, New Bulgarian University, The Ministry of Education and Science, Sofia Department were carried out.
