Students Uncover National History’s Connection to Europe’s Historical Processes trough “Imagine Europe” Interactive Game
3 groups of students from 51 Secondary Schools in Sofia, aged 17-18, took part in the interactive learning game "Imaginе Europe" under the Erasmus Plus project "Meet our neighbours", coordinated by the Centre for Educational Initiatives with partners from 5 other Balkan countries: Greece, Serbia, North Macedonia, Romania and Turkey.
The young people discussed the place of Bulgaria and the Balkan countries in Europe, they discussed the topic related to the separate identities that exist in each of us and the balance between them.
Even though they approached it differently and gave a different picture of their idea of Europe and our place in it, the common thing that united all the mind maps was the connection they found between our national history and the historical processes taking place in Europe from the past until today.
