For a second year the conference “The challenges of the present and the quality of the education” was conducted in Shumen.
Over 160 experts participated in The Second science-practical conference “The challenges of the present and the quality of the education”, which took place in Shumen on 3o and 31.10.2008. The conference was organized in 3 main sections: “Modern role models in the educational space”, “Social reality and the effective 21st century’s school – reality and perspectives” and “Quality in the educational process and education. Specialists in the educationsphere from Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Italy and Austria carried out their reports. The centre for educational initiatives and “Parents” Association presented their experience from their project activities in the reports, which were delivered by Tzvetan Tzvetanski – “E-education – perspectives for the Bulgarian school”, and Eva Borissova - “Building life skills – two possible approaches”
